Dreamy Bedroom's

I'm currently in the process of gathering inspiration and ideas for my next project, restyling my bedroom.  While we live in a rented property, it's still possible to make the place feel your own by adding furniture, art & bedding. The bedroom is a place of relaxing and unwinding at the end of the day so it's important to have it as clutter free as possible. It's also probably the most personal room in a house, the one where you can express your sense of style the most. I'm loving white & grey colour schedules with pops of blush pink to add some interest. Loving mod simplicity styles to keep it bright and functional with touches of vintage for loveliness!

Here are some my favourite bedroom interiors idea's...

An inspiration colour & texture board I created for the pops of blush pink.

I love the simplicity of this room & the ladder and vintage suitcases to add a feature of interest.

How lush is this mod pink chair?! Need one now...

Sheep skin rug, beautiful bedding & foliage on piled books, so dreamy!

If I could paint my walls, this would be exactly how I would do it, three quarters full.. image from sfgirlbybay

White curtains allow a dreamy light into the room, making it look like a larger space. Also love the rug!

A feature lamp is a must, love this vintage industrial style!

Tea for Two Tablescaping

Tea party's are one of my favourite ways to spend these warm autumn afternoons in Melbourne.

Today's shots feature some recent fun I had with tablescaping. Jars with blooms, bunting, an old timber fence, tea cups & pink lemonade are all the ingredients for a lovely vintage tea party!

These sweets and biscuit tins I picked up from a little gift store in Lancefield, they add an element of height to the table and can be used as a cake or cupcake stand for a rustic look.

Pink lemonade - sweet to the eye & the tastebuds!

Fresh flowers are a must for any tea party, styling in different jars create a vintage rustic look. These beauties are courtesy of raven and the rose and her left overs!

Beautiful tea cups never go out of style. The ones featured here I received as a very special wedding    gift. Always keep an eye out in any op shop, sometimes you can come across some real beautiful crockery & at a smidgen of the price.

Hope you enjoyed my tea party, bottoms up!
