One fine week in Fiji

A couple of weeks ago we (myself and the mister) had the privilege of attending an ever so sweet celebration of love in Fiji. It was extra special given that it was my lovely brother in law and new sister in laws wedding! They had a pretty handsome best man too ;)

Bree and Kev were married at the Hide Away Resort in Fiji, it was a beautiful, balmy & romantic day in paradise.. doesn't get better than that really! We throughly enjoyed our 7 day escape into Fiji time, such bliss.

Here's a few candid shots from the day...

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Garner!   xxx

Tea for Two Tablescaping

Tea party's are one of my favourite ways to spend these warm autumn afternoons in Melbourne.

Today's shots feature some recent fun I had with tablescaping. Jars with blooms, bunting, an old timber fence, tea cups & pink lemonade are all the ingredients for a lovely vintage tea party!

These sweets and biscuit tins I picked up from a little gift store in Lancefield, they add an element of height to the table and can be used as a cake or cupcake stand for a rustic look.

Pink lemonade - sweet to the eye & the tastebuds!

Fresh flowers are a must for any tea party, styling in different jars create a vintage rustic look. These beauties are courtesy of raven and the rose and her left overs!

Beautiful tea cups never go out of style. The ones featured here I received as a very special wedding    gift. Always keep an eye out in any op shop, sometimes you can come across some real beautiful crockery & at a smidgen of the price.

Hope you enjoyed my tea party, bottoms up!

Wedding blooms

I love weddings! So this Saturday was a real treat being the apprentice florist for my sister and her  floral business 'Raven and the Rose'. We set up at a beautiful little blue stone cottage at the Lavender farm in Daylesford, Victoria. The blooms were so delightful, including some fresh organic pretties from the little flower farm. The wedding was a romantic vintage style which is right up my alley.

Take a look at some of my shots from the set up.... enjoy x

P.s how delicious does that cake look!!
